Good afternoon everyone,
We wanted to wish all the mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day - and hope you all are safe and healthy!
Rick was in Bloomington, with many stops along the way up and back to Niagara to pick up birds today. Thank you for all who have connected with us to let us know when you're delivering your birds or meeting up with us for pick ups.
Rick will be vaccinating either this evening or tomorrow in the day all of the birds that were vaccinated after our first weekend of drop offs.
It's cooler and rainy here today, hoping for more sunshine tomorrow - and will do a Facebook Live update tomorrow as well.
Have a great rest of your weekend!
Jeane (aka "The 1st Pigeon Lady")
Afternoon pigeon fanciers!
Just a quick update to remind you to check out the pick up dates and locations from the May 4th update note.
As for the birds that are here - they're looking great! Enjoyed some sun (finally) late this morning and now into the late afternoon outside in their settling aviaries. Rick hopes to be letting them have some loft flying time perhaps next week, obviously weather dependent.
He is busy working on the "older" section of the coop - as more and more birds continue to arrive. I bought wipe boards for each section of the coop today to make sure we're tracking important dates and info for each section - like vaccination dates for example.
We continue to accept birds until Monday, May 24th - so connect with us as able to arrange drop off or pick up with Rick.
Have a great night everyone - and check out our Facebook live posts for more viewings of the birds!
Thanks
Jeane (aka "The 1st Pigeon Lady)

Good afternoon flyers,
Just wanted to provide a quick update to you as to where things sit with getting the bird registration up to date.
I am still working on the online wincompanion postings, so those are behind. Rest assured, my trust binder and my section listings of the birds in the coop will assist me in the next couple of days to complete the wincompanion bird list!
Stay tuned for that to be completed. Feel free to continue watching us on Facebook for our Live postings, as I will give update as to when I've completed these wincompanion updates and give you all the up to date information on how the birds are doing.
Thanks for the support and see you soon on Facebook - or watch the events at a time that is convenient to you!
Stay safe and healthy,
Good morning everyone
Yesterday we completed the vaccination of the birds who've arrived already. We'll repeat this in 2 weeks for these birds.
Remember to connect with us if you're sending birds so we can confirm pick up locations and times as well as receive the correct information for your registration.
We are open for receiving birds until Mon. May 24th - still plenty of time to enter!
Thanks to everyone for your support and we look forward to a great race season this year.
Good afternoon everyone!
And they are arriving! The birds are starting to come in today and we're thrilled this time has arrived - finally!
I wanted to remind folks of the option to meet up with other flyers who are headed down to the loft this weekend, if anyone wishes to reach out to them to have them bring your birds.
Darrin Esch is coming from Tecumseh, ON and driving along the 401 on Saturday, April 24th, to Niagara Falls. He's offered to pick up anyone's birds along the way. Feel free to contact him on Facebook or link with us and we'll put you in touch!
Neil Gonzales is also heading down to Niagara Falls on Saturday, April 24th, making a stop at the Pioneer Clubhouse as well as John Lehman's loft.
If you'd like to drop birds at the Pioneer Clubhouse or at John's feel free to contact Neil via Facebook or through us.
Robert Rotiroti is travelling down our way to drop his birds off on Sunday, April 25th. He can bring your birds down with him if you wish. He is able to collect birds for a couple of days if needed and bring them down to us on the Sunday. Robert lives in Queensville, near Markham.
Feel free to contact him at 289-264-3416.
If you have birds coming with either Robert or Darrin please let us know ahead of time so that we can arrange your entry and payment (or make sure you send that information with the birds).
Excited to get this year underway, keep in touch everyone and look forward to hearing from you!
