Hope you are all having a great long weekend!
Rick is heading to CU this week to get more electronic bands.
We'll have them banded and we’ll do an inventory by the end of the week.
The birds are eating well and loft flying each day.
Rick plans on starting training in the next 2 week - so stay tuned!
Have a great week,
After our diligent work yesterday, our detailed list of inventory is up.
If you check in the wincompanion bird listing - only the eligible birds will show up - the green dot does not specify anything for our race - so please ignore it. If you wish to select your own breeder name - you will notice the "YES" and "NO" listings to show all of your bird statuses.
This is way that we will easily indicate our listing of birds.
An update with our training...Rick has all of the birds loft flying regularly, but they are not ready to be trained away from the loft yet. He is aiming for the 1st or 2nd week of August to start this.
Also - we have clothing for sale now! We are very excited to offer t-shirts, long sleeved t-shirts, and hoodies with our logo on them. Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for the pictures of this merchandise. There is also a link in our gallery - click on a picture there and it will lead you to the Instagram site.
If you ever have any questions - please feel free to connect with us!

Hope everyone has been staying cool in this crazy heat!
Rick has been caring for the birds in his normal routine, making them loft fly more and more though the days.
Within the next 2 weeks, we are planning to have the birds electronically banded so we can keep better inventory and keep you updated more easily.
Posted a couple of funny videos tonight on our instagram and Facebook pages - hope you enjoy them!
Well we've almost reached Canada Day and I can't believe the time has flown by.
So glad we're still able to have our racing season though!
Rick wanted me to share that he will be doing a final vaccination tomorrow.
Our Canada Day festivities are always fun!!
Happy Canada Day everyone!

A little cooler outside today - nice to be out and not so hot and humid.
Posted another video to Facebook and attempting to insert it into our gallery. It's an "inside the coop" video, watching the birds come in for dinner. My apologies for not posting many videos in the gallery as I'm having some technical difficulties with the uploading process.
I will continue to post pictures and videos to both our Instagram and Facebook pages - and will keep trying to get some to our website's gallery.
Have a great night,
Happy Father’s Day to everyone!
Rick let out 75 birds today all at once - most of them flew around together for a minutes even in the heat. Rick's truck thermometer stated 33..a little warm today.
Both sides of the coop enjoyed a bath - check out Facebook for some great videos and pictures of their adventures.
Have a great evening evening and stay cool!
aka “The First Pigeon Lady”
Good evening everyone
Rick had 3 separate groups out today - each group had 50 birds in it. These 3 groups were of the original birds that arrived at the beginning of our drops offs for the season.
In the last group of 50, only 48 came in. Not sure where they went, as they didn't come down or trap.
Rick doesn't let the birds fly on his own race day but they'll be out enjoying the sunshine and fresh air in the aviaries tomorrow (Saturday).
We will try and do a video this weekend...so stay tuned!
Just wanted to give a quick update to you all.
Rick let out a group of 35 today all at once (different birds from yesterday)...they enjoyed the sunny weather and a few are still outside the coop enjoying their free time.
We'll know later if all decide to come in.
Rick got the birds into the main loft yesterday safe and sound.
He decided to let two groups of about 35 pigeons each out today and we've posted some video on Facebook.
All birds were accounted with no fly-aways.
Sorry no commentary - Rick is a man of few words online...LOL
Jeane aka. The Pigeon First Lady
Check out the video on Facebook if you get a chance.
Rick is moving the birds that are still in the quarantine lofts to the larger loft tomorrow as planned. He might get a loft fly in tomorrow - if not, then Monday will hopefully be the day (of course always weather permitting).
Sunny and a little cooler here today - I had a sweatshirt on for most of the day - but the sun was shining with some cooler breeze and it felt great!
Tune in tomorrow for another video!
