200 MI. RACE/NANEZ FAM. LET-AUCTION

Congrats to the top 10 at our 200 mi. race.  There were actually 31 birds on the first drop and many more groups of30-50 to follow.  Good race!

Announcing Nanez family Loft will be having a 15 bird auction on Sunday, Nov. 27 at the Royal Cup final race.  Most pigeon flyers know how succesful Rick Nanez has been in one loft races the past few years.  Unfortunately Rick's health has not been good and he is down-sizing, auctioning off some of his top notch birds.  We thank Rick for this opportunity.

Our final race will be Saturday, Nov. 26, the projected weather is excellent, in face our whole week looks very good.  Good Luck to all!!!

Birds are up at 6:30, clear and calm, looks like a excellent day for a race.  We hand scanned the birds last night and we have 3 birds that had bad or no chip, we re-chipped them and they are in the race with the proper chip.  They are: BLTF 245, JEDDS 2020, AONE 153.  This is the first leg of the 3 race average speed.  Good Luck!!

TRAINING UPDATE

Training has been challenging this year so far because every morning we encounter overcast, low clouds, etc. and we have to wait till it clears.  Most mornings that is 11:00-11:30.  Even then it's certainly not ideal.  Hopefully we will start getting better mornings.  Good luck to all.
