Yesterday 45-Mile trainer was removed due to operator error. It will be redone next day or two weather permitting it will be 65 Trainer Toss.
Schedule going forward will be the 175 Mile Race February Sat 4th, and 225 Mile Race Sat 11th the 325 Final Race Friday 17th. Basketing Birds will be Thursday16th. Day before main race.
All prizes and credit will be sent out the second week after the 400 Miler Strong Bird Race. Prize sheets will be posted after the Race is completed.

We had 2 Antennas go out today on the training toss, that's why we have approx. 800 Birds clock in. The Reason stems from the bad weather that damage the lofts in the Tornado last Oct- Nov, at least we are getting on top of this Now and not Race Day. Antennas will be in 2 days and will continue the Training before the 135 Sprint Race.

We are sorry about the Mishap on 100 Mile Activation Race there was a clock Malfunction (only on race day!), it was fixed now and is ready to go. We ran the birds over the antennas today for the correct bird count, we had 1203 birds return with 19 birds missing, be sure to check periodically to see if you have any late arrivals.
We will be running 4 trainers two 45 Milers and one 65 miler and one 75 Miler before the 135 Mile Race. Birds are still doing great! Healthy and still routing. Will be trying for Friday, Saturday and Monday tosses. A 45, 65, and 85 mile tosses. Weather has been a big issue here. No sun and the passes are all fogged in. Maybe waiting for later in morning toss.
Last 45 mile toss had a clocking malfunction. Add another 205 birds to the 1014 clocked. May delete that toss. Will be doing an inventory loft fly tomorrow, if not raining.
Getting close to activation 100 mile toss. Shooting for 14th or 16th of January.

Birds are coming along extremely well. We had 300 birds clocked in one minute and 600 clocked in 2 minutes on the 50 mile toss with mass release. From now on, all tosses from 45 miles or more will be all together. Weather here is a chilly 25 deg. in the mornings.
Activation Toss from the 100 mile will be mid. January. All entry fees are due then of $300. Everyone will be in the average speed this year. There will be a sprint race at 135 miles. $100 is optional entry for that race. A 10 for 1 will be the pay out for that race only. So $100 makes a $1000. The first 4 races are average speed 135, 175, 225 and 325. The 400 is extra $100.
If there is no sun for training or races. There is no toss.
