Our Season was very successful, and we paid out approx. 365,000. We had taken in over 1600 Birds, with 936 going to the main race with over 2000 miles of training and 500 more birds than the previous year. We are now looking forward to the next season 2023-2024 Late Hatch Race. We will be accepting Birds as of June 1st; the loft can accommodate over 1600 birds, but we will try to take in as many as are safe for the birds. If you have winnings of over 600.00, please send in your W9 Form that would include any form of credit used, such as 600 was the prize, and you used 200.00 for entry to the 400-mile race; we will still issue a 600.00 w-9 on the form.
We are looking for a missing bird from one of the Breeders, ARPU-102917-BBH. For anyone with knowledge or recovery, there is a Reward offered.

Weather is bad on Wednesday. Will be dropping off birds at JEDDS, THURSDAY 3/16th at about 1:00 PM, traffic permitting. Then in Riverside area at 3:00 at El Torito off of 91 and McKinley. If you miss me. Will be giving the Riverside area birds to Bill Blankenship. his phone number 951- 347-0004.

Good Morning Breeders,
Will be going through the birds on Tuesday. And will start shipping birds back on the 20th Of March. If you do not want your bird back and have prize money coming. Can start cutting your checks now. Others checks will be cut after your birds are shipped back to you.
Shooting for next Wednesday or Thursday to bring back birds to JEDDS. Trying not to deliever birds on a rainy day.

Dear Breeders,
400 Miler Will be run tomorrow out of San Fidal, New Mexico. Birds will be fighting the wind 2 Mountain Ranges, Snow on the Ground. Temp 15 Degrees at Release. We might Rename this Race the “Polar Express.”
We have quite substantial Prize fund; Birds will be in Clocking Order and Paying Down to 54 Spots.
Race will Be open for 2 Days.

Sorry, we haven’t announced the Strong Bird 400 Mile Race due to the crazy weather we’re having, the only window of opportunity to fly is Saturday the 4th, and Basketing on Friday the 3rd.
The forecast for Sat is the only day that is acceptable. We will post the Payout Sheet after Basketing as many of the entries are still coming in, with over 500 birds making the race, and 25,000 loaded from the original entry fees we should have a sizeable Purse.
Please get your entry fees in before this Saturday, please call if you have made arrangements or have any questions. Any paid entries that don’t make the 400 Race will be refunded.
All prizes will be sent out the second week after the 400 Mile Strong Bird Race. The prize sheet will be posted after the Race is completed.

Quick note on the 400 Miller, some breeders are calling and confused about the 100.00 entry to fly in the 400 Miler even though it has a 25,000 Loaded prize fund, the 100.00 entry will increase the prize fund, you’ll need to Pay the 100.00 Entry to participate in the 400 Miler. The Prize payout list will be posted the day prior to the race.
If you’re coming to the 400 Mile Race and want to pick up your Hold Birds or your buddies Birds and save the cost of shipping, lets us know we’ll have the bird there for you at time before basketing.

Congratulations to the Winners of the Golden Valley Late Hatch Race. It was nice seeing all the Flyers that show up and a good time was had by ALL. Special thanks go to Enrique Puga EL Cantina Restaurant Kingman, AZ and his Family for the delicious Mexican Food. It was a bit chilly for all of us, but the birds were flying threw some extreme cold weather 4 degrees at Release, snow on the ground about 1/3 of Racecourse, with clear skies. 3/4 quarters of the birds returning as of date.
292,000 paid out prizes so far, Paying down 94 Spots per 1000.00 each.
3 Birds on the drop Paying 30,000 each goes to… 44th Loft, Ilonggo Connection and Big Game Loft (from Storage Wars “hey we watch it”). First Ace Pigeon goes to Cloux Loft 10,000, with H-Y Loft, Max Rosas, Lone Peak, Milestone Loft. With Good Breeding and good Training these birds rose to the top. And Congratulations to all the birds that returned, Good Job.
Now the 400 Miler coming up on a Saturday (weather permitting) approx. 2 to 3 weeks, all eligible Paid Entries for the Race will have a green dot next to it in the 400 Column, so be sure to get your entry in BEFORE RACE DAY. All Birds Not Paid for will go to the Race. Please Let us Know if you don’t want your bird to go to the 400 Miler all birds not going to the Race will be MARKED on eligibility column will be marked Hold… So, it’s imperative that you let us know which birds to Hold and not send to the race.
400 Miler has already been funded from Entry Fee. 25,000. If 500 paid 100.00 entries, there would be appox.75,000 Prize fund. Just a thought!! Not Bad for 100.00 Investment.

Checking the weather Report we should have a window of opportunity for a Friday Moring Release in Gallop New Mexico, it has been storming in the Mountain Passes in Flagstaff. Reports say it should be Clear with patching Clouds making for an interesting Race. We want to announce Basketing will Start a 10:00 Thursday, if you do come you can handle your bird during the basketing process, Only the Paid Flyer can Handle the Bird and the Bird cannot leave the garage area. This will be Strictly Enforced.
Clay MacBeth will drive the Birds to Gallop, he is very experience in Pigeon Releasing. Birds will be counted on the First Drop order, then Clocking Order. Example is: if 4 birds are on the drop… Then the 4 Prizes will be added together an distributed evenly.

225 Miler was a good test for the birds 10 Degrees some headwinds we had 8 on the drop congratulations to winners 1,000 apiece down to 15 spots and some free perch fees.
Average pool and 400 which was funded by the Entry Fee, and the Main race will payout.

The 225 mile race will be Friday, Feb. 10th. The main race, 325 is still looking good for Feb. 17th.
