PAY OUT FOR MAIN RACE AT 200 PAID ENTRIES GOES AS F0LL0WING 1ST 10,000 2ND 8,000 3RD 6,000 4TH 4,000 5TH 2,000 6TH - 17TH 1,000 EA. 18TH 500. ALL BIRDS IN FIRST DROP ARE 1ST WITH EQUAL PAY OUTS, THEN CLOCKING ORDER. MORE OR LESS ENTRIES WILL BE PRO-RATED THE CAPITAL PRIZE. CITY OF HOPE WILL RECEIVE 2,500 IF 200 ENTRIES. WILL BE PRO-RATED TOO.

A 150 AND 200 MILES TRAINING RACE WILL BE SETUP. 100 BUY-IN ON YOUR TRAINERS OF YOU WANT TOO. 10 TO 1 PAY OUT. ALL BIRDS WILL BE GOING TO TRAINING TOSS. PICK ALL OR ONE OF YOUR BIRDS. PAY OUT IS IN CLOCKING ORDER.

BAD PAD

Birds are still coming great. The 40 mile toss showed 18 birds missing. One of the pads was unplugged. Should be all here on the 70 mile toss. Good Luck to all this weekend. Its the 150 mile toss and all the birds are going out together'

SHIPPING

We all had a great toss yesterday from 120 miles. Will be basketing the birds for the 150 mile toss this Saturday between 12 and 1 PM. All are welcome to view shipping and return of birds. Arizona is ahead by one hour on day light savings time. All birds will be going out together in Flagstaff at 150 miles about 8. If you want to view the release. Contact me for release point.  

I feed on shipping day, fyi.

SPRINT AND ENTRY FEES

Good Morning,

Birds went out at a 100 miles today. All but a few did great. Birds were coming in from every direction. Planning on 125 mile toss next weekend. 150 sprint on the Jan.19th and the 200 mile sprint toss on the 26th. weather permitting. If you want to get into the sprint races. Its $100 per sprint race. You can get into only one or both but its a 100 each. Prize money is paid out 10 to 1 till prizes are gone. 5% will be held out for City of Hope and 10% for administration. Sprint money should be in by Jan. 13th for the 150 and the 20th for 200. Any prizes won can be credited to the entry fee.

Entry fees are due by the end of this month, January for Activation of your pigeons for final race. Shipping is Feb. 6th Thursday and race Feb.7th weather permitting. Race is the day before the Gala in Las Vegas. If birds are held over, due to weather. Birds will be release on Sunday, Feb. 9th. All birds on your teams must be paid for or no activation of team.

TRAINING

Good Afternoon,

Bird are coming along great but the weather is not. Last Sunday was our last toss. Did really well but 5 birds did not clock. They registered that afternoon and in the morning. Been working on second pad and dividers while entering loft. 

This week been bad for weather. Will toss short tomorrow if weather permits. If not, an inventiory but will get out for sure Saturday and Sunday. Monday looks so so. Tuesday on looks great!

Good Afternoon

All the birds made it from the 60 mile toss. Two birds didnot scan but picked them up next morning exercise. Will be going 65 miles tomorrow. Bird are exercise around the loft 40 minutes aday but still routing. Slowing down a little but training is farther out. Will continue to let all the birds out together, but on short tosses in groups. Will tell you on the training report how their tossed. Weather here next week is chance of rain 3 or 4 days. Will be picking my date carefully. May have some short tosses.

Good Afternoon

 

Sunday toss was cancelled due to rain but took birds 45 miles Monday and Tuesday. Did very well. One more toss at 45 then 50 mile. Going over another set of mountain ranges at 50 miles. Still tossing 2 crates at a time but letting out birds first that I were let out last before. Should see a different set of birds coming in if all goes right. Will be training every other day now. Bird on non training days are still flying over an hour and still routing too. Great to see the birds feeling that good.

Mondays toss was alot harder than past tosses. Birds are doing better than I expected. Really a good looking team of race birds. Dropped one bird Monday with last bird coming in with feathers missing from its back. Tuesday and Wednesday rain of this week and fog today. Birds still exercised 45 minutes to an hour and half daily. Will be going 30 miles tomorrow. then 35 Saturday and 45 Sunday, Weather permitting'

 Still tossing two crates at a time, 5 minutes apart. Planning group toss when we got to 65 miles.

TRAINING

Good Morning

Birds are coming along fine. Been heavy cloud cover last Wednesday and raining the past two days with hail today. Did get 5 tosses in a row. We are out about 30 miles now with 230 birds beating me home. I'm tossing two crates at a time 5 minutes apart. Should be able to get in 4 more tosses in a row till the next weather system moves in. Will be 35 to 40 miles by then. Hope you all had a great Happy Thanksgiving. Good Luck To All.
