Hello Breeders,

The Longhorn is only accepting 1,200 birds in 2024.

We're already at almost 800 reservations - so 2/3s full!

Thanks to all who have reserved perches!

The 2023 trophies were mailed on Monday.

We hope the winners enjoy proudly displaying these in their lofts.

Several breeders in Northern areas have told us the extreme cold is affecting their breeding. Wishing them warmer weather soon! We're accepting birds until June 11, so plenty of time, even for those getting a late start.

We had a chance to get away, so spent last week in Orlando. Nice to get a little R & R, but we're excited to start the new 2024 season!

The 2024 season is still a "pay-as-you-go" entry fee format. We will collect a $200 Sprint Series entry fee and a $250 Grand Finale entry fee. However, we will only collect entry fees once & issue a $250 refund for every bird that doesn't go to the Grand Finale. It takes A LOT of days to collect entry fees twice. Once the birds are in a good routine and in good shape, we don't want to delay the final race due to entry fee collection.
