Most birds have been returned. The heat is too much to ship birds this week. The weather report shows lower temps next week. Tuesday is a holiday, so we would have to ship on Wednesday. If you want your birds back, you need to contact me now.

We will be accepting birds in the Spring. You can send birds with no money. Perch fees and race fees will not be due until after the activation toss. We will only accept 400 birds.

We could have flown this race series in March, but unfortunately, we had some sickness and had to shut down for 5 weeks. We had the worst pigeon weather I've seen in the 10 years we've been running this race. It started in December and lasted all the way through. The exception was the 5 weeks we were shut down. We did have some good flying weather during that time. I wish it had been different.
We will be using our time off to clean, disenfect, and do some work on our loft.

We are watching multiple weather reports to see if Wednesday or Thursday is the best day to fly the 325 Mile Race.
The 218.97 Mile Race Report has been updated. All unactivated birds have been removed.
The birds have been resting and recuperating. We will loft-fly them tomorrow and Friday.
This race was more difficult than many may realize. The birds began with light head winds but encountered stiff right side winds for about 3 hours in the middle of the flight. On the last part of the race, the birds had head winds again. Around 11:00 the heat rose and the sun became more and more intense. The UV Index was 11 (Very High). The first birds did an incredible job.
We're watching the weather and will fly the 325 Mile Race, hopefully, at the first of the week.
