We continue to have rain everyday.
We are still able to flag the birds most days in between showers. They always exercise very well.
The cocks and hens are separated.
We will fly the 150 mile race on the 1st reasonable day.
We had heavy fog this morning followed by strong south (right side) winds. The weather report shows rain for the next 4 or 5 days.

This leaves us with $21,600 for prizes.

Tuesday the birds had honey, probiotics and electrolytes in the water. Wednesday they got fresh grit. Today they have rich food with Herbots 4 oils and BMT Powder added. We purchase almost all our supplements from Siegel's Pigeon Supplies (800) 437-4436.
Tomorrow we will feed rich food with Herbot's Zell Oxygen and Optimix Powder added.
We now need a decent day without strong crosswinds. That is still above my pay scale but I'm working on it.
The 100.6 Mile Race report has been updated. All ineligible birds have been removed.
I'm still waiting on the last 3 race fees to arrive. They should be here today or tomorrow. Once that happens, I'll post the payouts for our race series.
The weather report shows rain and thunderstorms for the next week. We continue to flag the birds for an hour or more every day possible.
We will fly the 150 mile race on the 1st acceptable day.
We will leave the clock on one more day. Live clocking will be off in the morning but turned on in the afternoon.
I will remove the ineligible birds from the list soon.
I will post all the payouts for our race series in a few days.
This is a tough one today. We have left side winds (northwest) that continue to get stronger. Gusts up to 20 mph. All the birds are returning from the south and southeast. The line of flight is from the west.
The birds are having to fly straight into strong head winds to get back to the loft.
I'm posting a few videos of the first birds today on our Facebook Page: River Valley Roundup One Loft Race
We have a basket list posted.
We are sending all the birds on this one, even the birds that are not activated. I will remove all the ineligible birds after the race.
I'm pretty sure we've had one bird return after clocking our 75 mile activation toss.
Check all your birds and information to insure everything is correct. We will not be responsible for any mistakes. This is a shared responsibility. You are ultimately responsible. If you see a mistake, notify me instantly.
There are still a few birds available for activation. If you want to activate one, let me know right away. The available birds are posted in a message below.
There's still time to enter a bird in the 'Optional Average Speed Race.' The cost is $100 per bird. We have $2600 in the prize pool so far. We will pay 3 prizes.
We plan to release the birds from 100 miles at 8:00 tomorrow morning (Monday). The birds will have some wind on the left side, so this will be a little difficult. If the birds drift south, they will fly by the loft and have to turn around.
Good luck to everyone!
