Good morning Breeders !

The last group has now joined groups one and two. So, now there is one group of birds loft flying every day.

We have been doing ADMINISTRATION SCANS and have around 422 birds. 

Our local Falcon and Coopers are still around and helping us with loft flying. However, the birds are getting smart and are avoiding any casualties. The birds missing are at a minimun.

Basket Training has commenced as the birds have an open basket on the loading shute to go in and out of during their time in the loft.

Once training starts we will post RESULTS on the WINCOMPANION site. Training will start sometime in the first two weeks of September.

First 2 groups are ranging and are let out every morning. Besides falcons and coopers helping to exercise the birds there has been only a couple of birds not quite fast enough to escape.

Group 3, the newest arrivals and replacement birds are let out after the main group ( which consists of Group 1 and 2) are all in.

Group 3 birds are settled and are grouping. It has been one week and they are flying well around the loft. 

Road training will start sometime after the 1st of September. At that time we will start posting under RESULTS on Wincompanion.

WE STAYED OPEN A LITTLE LONGER FOR BREEDERS TO SEND IN THEIR REPLACEMENTS. TOTALS ARE 91 BREEDERS 455 BIRDS.

APPROXIMATELY 75% OF THE BIRDS ARE SETTLED WITH THE YOUNGEST GROUP STILL ON THE NET. 

MIKE HAS HIS GRANDDAUGHER ENTER REPLACEMENT BIRDS INTO ADMIN SO THEY SHOULD BE SHOWING UP SHORTLY.

ON MY END I WILL THEN UPLOAD FROM PIDEXX INTO WINCOMPANION. ALSO, EXTRA ANTENNAS HAVE BEEN ADDED FOR MORE ACCURACY IN SCANNING THE BIRDS WHEN TRAPPING. 

WIFI IS HOOKED UP ALONG WITH THE COMPUTER AND YOU SHOULD START SEEING LOFT FLYING RESULTS IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS. THAT SHOULD ALSO COINCIDE WITH THE LAST GROUP COMIMG OFF THE NET IN THEIR SECTION.

THERE HAVE BEEN VERY FEW HAWK ATTACKS. AND VERY FEW BIRDS LOST IN THE SETTLING PROCESS. HEALTH IS EXCELLENT.

Birds are showing up just about everyday. We clip them (9th and 10th flight) chip them and vacciate them and enter into the computer (Benzing Pidexx) on arrival

They are then put in isolation pens for 7 days.
