OUR ORIGINAL PRIZE MONEY WAS CALCULATED AT $150 TAKEN OUT OF PERCH FEES TO GO TOWARD THE FIRST TWO RACES. THE OUT OF CONTROL GAS AND FEED COSTS HAS HAD US TO CUT BACK AND CALCULATE THE PRIZES AT $100 X 90 BREEDERS AND PUT THE PRIZE MONEY AT $9000 TO BE SPILT BETWEEN THE TWO RACES.

We have had 21 tosses up till now. Alot of electronic changes along with an antenna are now in place.

Newcastle will be our first live Wincompanion toss. We have 316 birds in the loft. The Falcons and Hawks have about 25% of our orginal inventory.

Good Morning. We are still running ADMISTRATION tosses on Wincompanion. What that means is, we can see it but the Breeders can't. We will be doing a hand scan next week and cleaning up about 10 to 12 birds not scanning and showing up on the computer. Once we get out 50 miles we will start running LIVE tosses on the computer with WINCOMPANION.

We have had a few calls about Breeders losses. We don't like it as much as you. Any breeder that loses all their birds before the first race will receive a free perch the next go around. Once the birds are let out of the baskets its "out of our control". We have many tosses at short distances and repeating from the same spot to build up confidence if the toss doesn't go well. 

Today's toss was 20 miles in the direction of the race stations. Speeds have been around 1300YPM to 1000YPM. The birds usually stay out for sometimes more that an hour loft flying once they arrive. We have been watching the air quality because of the fires to the North of us. If it is hazy and air quality index is up we do not fly the birds. 

Training has commenced for Top Breeders Challenge OLR.

The birds have had 5 short tosses and are out about 15 miles.

There were 447 birds in the clock before settling began. After the birds were settled and loft flying everyday at least once and most of time two loft flys per day. They were ranging and gone everyday for at last an hour for the last two weeks before training begin.

As training started we had 422 birds in the clock. Training started on Friday September 2, 2022

Tommorrow there will be an ADMINISTRATION CLOCKING and the 7th toss will be a live clocking update on Wincompanion.

With Coopers and Falcon attacks being a common occurrence in our daily routine the attacks have been our biggest enemy with our losses. Health is excellant and most of the birds look totally outstanding.
