TODAYS TRAINING TOSS

HELLO BREEDERS, TODAY WAS OUR 9TH TRAINING TOSS AND 2ND FROM 15 MILES. WATCHING THE RELEASE VIDEO AND SECURING THE TRAILER THE BIRDS LEFT IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. I CAME HOME AND IMMEDIATELY KNEW SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT AS ON THE LAST 15 MILE TRAINING TOSS THE BIRDS HAD BEAT US HOME BY SEVERAL MINUTES. WHEN THE BIRDS STARTED ARRIVING TO THE LOFT THEY WERE IN SMALLER GROUPS AND COMING FROM ALL DIRECTIONS AND DIFFERENT ALTITUDES, AT ONE POINT WE HAD A COUPLE DROPS OF OVER 40-60 BIRDS. THE BIRDS DID NOT APPEAR TIRED OR AS IF ANYTHING WAS WRONG. IN THE PREVIOUS 5 YRS WE HAVE STUCK TO THE TRAINING REGIMEN AND WHILE WALKING THROUGH THE LOFT I HAVE FOUND NO INJURED BIRDS.

I SEARCHED FOR ANY RECENT EARTHQUAKES AND FOUND THERE WAS A 2.8 MAGNITUDE APPROXIMATELY 18 HRS PRIOR TO RELEASE IN MINCO, OK WHICH IS JUST OVER 100 MILES FROM US. THIS SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY FACTOR THAT PLAYS PART IN STILL BEING OUT SEVERAL BIRDS. THEY ARE STILL TRICKLING IN.
