Today the birds loft flew really well, we are planning to start road training this Saturday November 25th weather permitting. Best of luck to everyone.

Here's a video update, the birds are doing well. We were planning to start road training this week but the weather has been an issue, heavy rain yesterday all day non-stop, today is very windy but the next couple of days looks good, we will try to get some consistent wing time and hit the road pretty soon. We will keep you posted, wishing all the breeders good luck on all the other races around the country.

Here's a video update of the birds inside the loft, we randomly picked a few birds to show you the overall health before we start road training. We have been loft flying them almost daily weather permitting, the birds look and feel good. We just need a little bit more wing time before we hit the road, most likely next week. We will keep you all posted. Hope you all enjoy the video and good luck in all the other races around the country.

Good afternoon Breeders,
First of all we want to say thank you for your patience, today we were able to merge the last group to the main flock. We did a live video this morning and everything was going really well as many of you were watching, all of a sudden we get two unwanted visitors (hawks) and the birds scattered all over the place, currently is raining in the loft and we have birds coming from all directions and we are hoping for more birds to return before dark.
Tomorrow we are planning on doing the first inventory, it will be posted here on wincompanion and we will be doing a live video also on Facebook & YouTube, if you don’t want to miss it go ahead and follow us on Facebook & YouTube, all you need to do is search for Florida Pigeon Derby and you will find us.

Quick update, we have been Loft Flying the birds for about a week or so, we are not pushing them at all, they are basically flying as they please for the moment and around noon time we call them in, we are teaching them to trap quickly at this point and they are responding really well.
Sometime next week we will be posting an inventory on Wincompanion, stay tuned for that, below we will leave you with a video, hope you guys/gals like it. Who wants to win any of those trophies on the video? Best of luck in tomorrow's races for those of you that are competing.

This is a Video Update, so far the birds are exactly were they need to be, this coming Monday we will start to loft fly again if weather permits. Due to the amount of birds we have it is necessary to start loft flying them in groups the first couple of days until we feel is safe to merge all the groups together, once they are all flying together we will start posting inventories on Wincompanion.

Just a reminder that the Race is Officially CLOSED for the 2023 Season. We are not accepting anymore birds for this season.
Our plan for the next few weeks is to trap train and settle the new birds that recently came in, most of the older birds are just enjoying the aviary while the 9th & 10th grows back up. Somewhere around September 15th we are planning to loft fly again in groups because of the amount of birds we have and slowly merge all the groups together, once this is done we will be posting inventories on Wincompanion and Benzing.
For those of you that still want to get in the race and have no birds or want to add more birds to your team give me a call (Pedro 305-794-8604) We have birds available from some of the top breeders in the country.

Today we went through a few birds to check up on their molt, we liked what we saw and 9th & 10th are growing up nicely. We also provided a bath for the birds, they really enjoyed it especially on this hot summer days. Hope you all enjoy the video.
IMPORTANT: This coming Wednesday August 16th is the LAST DAY to SHIP replacements, we will be closing the race on Friday August 18th, no exceptions.
