It’s been very hot here in Georgia with very high humidity we had the birds out early loft flying As much as possible . yesterday was the first toss from the trailer we took them down my driveway for short toss it went very well . It’s cool seeing that many birds taking off from the trailer at one time .The birds are ready to start going down the road. 90% have completely finshed the molt. We had several visits from the Coopers lately hopefully they decided to leave town .

Good Friday morning

The Birds are doing great we are very happy with the progress we have been releasing them from

the trailer this week next week we will drive down to end of the driveway and release them my driveway is about a half a mile long.

we will get in a few tosses then start road training . I can believe we so close to our first race. The morning has been nice and cool this week the birds are loving it

its very scary when then the are out flying about hour out of sight but its so exciting when you see them come back in giant groups This team of young birds love to fly.

Today we lost power while the birds were loft flying big oak tree fell across the power lines around 65 birds did not clock. 

we will run the clock tomorrow to get accurate count. The birds are flying and kitting up in groups now some are starting to route .

Morning Breeders yesterday problem with uploading from Top Pigeon to Wincompanion ,it shows we only clocked  1477 birds . thats not correct  I hope the clock works correctly today .

we have all the birds out and flying  now .

I can't believe its August already we will be flagging the birds up the next few days .

The birds are feeling good and flying everyday some are starting to route .we are very happy with the progress,

Good morning breeders quick update yesterday we let all the birds loft fly that wanted to we did not force any out of the loft they loved flying again . 90% is out of the molt now

The birds will be out everyday the weather permits we will not start forcing them out until Tuesday . Yesterday we had a bad storm came out of nowhere around 5:30 we have no power still at the loft we had lot of trees down

Thank god no damage to the loft and all the birds are safe ,We are so happy it’s finally getting close to time to start training .

The birds are looking great so far, the health has been amazing .The flights are over 50% in

The last group of birds are trapped trained now . we will be running the clock everyday the weather permits.

We will have them under a cage the next ten days with the clock running while we treat them for canker, respiratory  and worms.

Once the treatment is finished the birds will go on good probiotics and will be loft flying again every day. We are very happy with the way the season is progressing.

We are finally getting sunshine, and the temperature are heating up the birds seems to love that.

I hope everyone had awesome Father’s Day weekend.

Not lot going on at the loft right now we are loft flying and trap training the last group that came in .The bird’s health has been awesome this year they love getting outside .we are still working around the loft.

Looks like the rain has moved in for the next few days so the birds will be locked down until the rain moves out.
