UPDATE Hello everyone, I wanted to provide you with a quick update on our bird training progress. On Monday, we took the birds out for a 25-mile toss, and they performed well. Yesterday, we faced intermittent rain throughout the day, so we opted for a loft fly instead of training. Today, we trained the birds, although we started a bit later due to light rain in the morning. We plan to continue training as long as the weather allows, but the forecast shows a 30% chance of rain for the rest of the week. As of now, our plan is on track for the final race scheduled for Monday the 25th. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out. Thank you, and have a wonderful day! ACTIVATION RACE UPDATE Good afternoon breeders! This morning we had an 80 mile training toss and the birds did well. We will free loft the birds tomorrow and Wednesday will be our 100 mile Activation Race. Birds that complete the activation race will be required to pay the activation fee. LOFT FLY Due to the current excessive heat and forecasted heat index of 110 and above, we've decided not to train the birds today and tomorrow. Instead, we'll allow them to enjoy loft flying and take a bath to keep cool. We plan to resume training on Friday when the wather is expected to be more favorable.

WELCOME TO THE 2023 BEAVER CREEK OLR Hello Breeders, If you are looking for a small OLR in 2023 Come Join US. Capacity will be 200 birds. We are located in Northern Ill in the town of Winnebago. My wife, Theresa and I are looking forward to putting on a competitive and fun race. This will be our 2nd year holding the Beaver Creek OLR. We started taking bird on April 1 and will stop receiving them on May 31st. For those of you that have already sent birds thanks for your support. We look forward to hearing from you!!
