AGN LOFT UPDATE
6/22/24
Good Morning Breeders!
AGN lights have been turned off and now the body moult starts and the feathers begin to pour off. We did a hand inventory checking bands and numbers- color corrections. 9th flights have been pulled and the birds have been taking it easy while the weather starting to warm back up in the 100's We will be pulling the 10th flight in about 3 -4 weeks. New training truck is almost finished along with loading once we remove the settling cage. The inventory and training/race results in Wincompanion is almost completed . The bird inventory is correct on the AGN Bird page.

AGN RECAP 6/5/24
AGN Recap. 990 birds where taken in this year for the race and every single bird can be seen why or where it has been marked missing from. The Inventory page for breeders sent birds is 100% accurate and and non entrants have been removed and updated.

The last two groups 6-7 have made their way to the Avairy section and are awaiting the loft fly access. Losses off the loft have been very few and all birds are marked lost with the according inventory/loft fly toss number. If they ever return they will be marked by stray and it shows you what inventory/loft fly toss number they where lost from.

Live results can be viewed two places AGNRACE.COM > race results tab and Wincompanion. If Wincompanion has issues our site is always live...

2024 AGN Breeders do not have a user name and password for the AGNRACE.
COM race results site please let us know so we can set you one up.
Note your user name will be your email address. You create your own password your choice. If you need help please let us know.

Both breeders and birds inventory and training/inventory/race will be posted on this site and Wincompanion site

if your birds have lost codes on the inventory/lost bird below is what it means.
9999 bird has died
8888 bird was injured
7777 bird got a illness
100-199 is the loft fly or inventory it was lost on (fly away)
001-099 is the the training toss is was lost on.
If your see your bird marked as a STRAY and then you see a number example 201,101, then that means it was lost on that toss and now has returned!!


(foreign) is a chip Band trying to scan again that makes a phamtom ring number or can be bird that is a real bird with no ID assigned to it. If a bird comes home from last year race or prior AGN EVENT and still has it chip it's will show it!
If the birds that are not for a inventory,race..etc can be also marked as foreign

AGN WEEKLY RECAP.
AGN Weekly Recap.
Post office and breeders kept us busy all week, even on Mother’s Day! Currently at 750 birds and 23 days remaining until June 1st!
Groups 1-4 are flying and inventory is ongoing.
Group 5 has joined the general population and will start flying.
Group 6 will be on the landing board aviary section.
Health has been excellent with a few birds under close observation.
Broc Perry picked up AGN’s custom young bird Feed from the Volkmans Seed Factoy just 10 miles from the loft.

AGN OLR UPDATE

Group 3 out in the aviary

Group 5 in quarantine section.

This week AGN received 110 pigeons so far.

Post office delivered a dozen boxes on Wednesday and half dozen Thursday.

Carl Perry trained our old birds from Sacramento on Wednesday and collected another large group of entries from Sacramento racing pigeon club members Jay Page, John Hedderson, Jim Cain (CHP), Dennis Eastwood, Jim Bryan and Armando Delao from the North Coast.

Just over 110 birds this week rounding off the loft with 662 birds so far.

The birds are doing great,
Group1 - 100 birds have been moved from the setting pen and vaccinated with  booster PMV. They are ready for first loft flight once the weather clears.
Group 2 -100 birds are learning the in and out trapping an then get to explore the setting pen.
Group 3 -50+  are in the quarantine section and will transitioned to the trapping section.
