2024 SCHAFER SUMMER CLASSIC

- We will have one race only from 190 miles
- We will be accepting birds from March ISt until May ISt• Replacement birds are accepted
until May 16th. Birds will be vaccinated with PMV upon arrival.
- Perch fees are $75 each, due when the bird or birds are mailed or physically dropped-off.

- Entry fee is $150 per bird due immediately after the activation race that will occur no later than the 3rd of September.

- Prize money will be paid out by drop and then clocking order.

- The birds will remain the property of the breeders.

- There will be a Calcutta of $50 on the high only. Calcutta money needs to be sent at the same time activation money is sent.
- Calcutta money will be paid 50/30/20 split.
- Loft managers and handlers will not have their own birds in the race and will not be allowed to participate in the Calcutta.
- Any birds not activated will be sold and whoever buys the bird retains ownership
- Breeders wanting their birds back after the final race must send 60$ for the Ft bird and $10 for
each additional bird. This is to cover for the shipping fees
- All birds must be picked up no later than 2 weeks after the race or they will become property of
the Schaefer Summer Classic
- All training and race decisions will be decided by the Loft Manager
- The birds will be flown on the North Course
- Tentative Race schedule (weather permitting)
- Activation Race: August 24th --- Final Race: September 7th
