The last few tosses have went really well. We feel the birds are ready to start the race season. We are taking the birds 80 miles tomorrow, and if all goes well we will do a 40 or 50 mile toss Wednesday and have our activation race this Friday, August 26th. It will be 110 Miles from Osgood, Idaho.
All birds returning healthy from this race must be paid for prior to the first race to be activated. You are more than welcome to start sending entry fees this week and if your bird doesn't return from Osgood your money will be refunded.

Today's toss went really good. We had an internet interuption and I couldn't get the rest of the birds to load. I turned them back out tonight when it cooled off. So they will clock coming in.

We are greatful to enjoy the freedoms we have. The freedom to do the things we love. We hope everyone is able to enjoy this day and spend time with friends and family. We wish all the best!!!
The birds are doing great. They are doing a lot of loft flying. The last group has been settled and broke to the loft. We will really start pushing them this week and making them fly even more than they have been in preparation to start trainging. We are shooting for mid July to be the first training toss.

The birds are doing awesome. They get loft flown everyday, and are given bath opportunities at least twice a week. We are done accepting birds. We have around 220 birds in the loft. We will get the last small group broke this week and then really start focusing on getting them in shape to start training. We plan to start training mid July.

Our first online inventory was Friday. We have been doing regular hand inventories and alerting breeders to any missing birds. We will now start doing online loft fly inventories every 2-3 days. We had a new group out for the first time on Friday, and as luck would have it, we had a hawk hit the birds during the loft fly and really scattered the birds. We will do another inventory tomorrow and hopefully all the birds made it back safely!
This is the last week to send birds for your team. We will take replacement birds until June 10th.

The birds are doing awesome. The health of the birds has been great so far this year. The hawks are finally starting to slow down, and the weather is starting to stabilize. We have around 200 birds in the loft and most are broke to the loft and are getting out daily to explore thier new home. There are a few groups that are starting to route really well. We will break another section later this week.
We will also start doing online inventories this week.
There is still time to send birds. We will except birds for the next 2 weeks, and replacements for 2 weeks after that.

Spring is finally starting to win the boxing match. The birds are doing awesome. We have around 160 birds in the loft and most are broke to the loft and are getting out daily to explore thier new home. We will break another section soon. We have heard that some breeders are having a tougher time this year getting babies raised, especially in the southern states. If this is common in your area and have found a solution, we would love to hear about it and pass the word along.
