INVENTORY

We turned the clock on today to try to catch an inventory.  Something spooked the birds and they went up  We damn sure don't have a respiratory problem.  I will leave the clock on tomorrow. If you need to replace, you have until June 15th to do so.  Within the next week, I will pull flights and pox the birds.  I will post a hands on inventory again.  I did the last one May 21st, and notified those 5 or 6 people missing birds.  There is a pretty good group in trap training, and quarantine.  They will not show on this inventory.

BIRDS OUT

I have opened the loft up but not called the birds in. Very important--there are 30 or so powder puff birds assigned to a different clock and will show up as foreign.

MAY 26

Things are progressing normally here at the loft. We have about 190 birds now going out daily. Locked out for most of the day. Their not going to learn anything sitting in the loft.  So far we have had about 5 birds lost from the loft.  No sickness, not a single bird.  I'm getting this feeling the new Roto/PMV vaccine may be the key we were looking for. I'm also one of the AU Lofts, not a single sick bird in there either.  Groundhog days now. Will report anything unusual.

2022 BREEDERS FALL CLASSIC

Our tenth year of hosting our OLR event.

We have never wanted 800, 1,000 or more birds for our race. We want COMPETITION!! This is a race where you can only send 4 birds. Let’s see who is a very good breeder, and doesn’t need to send 20, and play that game. We have had a large group of flyers who always support the race and we are very grateful for you. If you want to get in the race, please go to Wincompanion and sign up. If you want to get ahold of me, text is best, as I don’t take my phone in the loft, because of my poor time management when I start talking to pigeon people. Please go to our website Breedersfallclassic.com for any information you may need or get a hold of me. We don’t do fancy ads or guarantees, we race pigeons. I will do a video every now and then, but not endless videos daily, when you did the same thing the day before. As my grandfather taught me. “Everything you do, is what you believe, everything else is just conversation”.

We are close to a combined 75 years racing pigeons. I am an active member of the IHC club, flying both YB and OB, as well as the OLR.

Perch fees: $125. Each For 3 or 4, $150 each for 1-2

Entry fees—YOU DO NOT PAY YOUR ENTRY FEES UNLESS YOUR BIRDS GO TO THE FINAL. THE ACTIVATION IS AFTER THE 225 MILE RACE. SO, WHEN YOU PAY YOUR ENTRY, YOU KNOW YOUR BIRD IS GOING TO THE FINAL.
Entry: $400. Per bird.
