LOFT FLY

Good morning breeders,

Looks like the weather may be turning around a bit in the next few days. We are supposed to have temps in the 90s and not the 106°-108° we have seen this week.

All the birds are now up flying except for 1 that's still going through a hard natural molt. It's getting close to being fully feathered but just don't want to push yet.

All the birds are looking great with no health issues.

We look forward to start training in the next few weeks.

Thank you again for your support!

HEALTH CHECK UP.

Happy Friday Everyone!

Spent the last 2 days hand scanning each bird. Verifyed all info, taped all chips, checked progress of flights and did a general health check.

Found some general info that needs correction but all chips and bands match.

Feather growth looks really good and there are only a few birds needing another week or so of unpushed loft flying.

4 birds were removed from general population due to weight loss and are on preventative care. All the other birds look fantastic.

We were have some issues with the chip bands popping open so we decided to tape them all.

Looking forward to a bit of a cooler morning tomorrow to get the birds out for some exercise.

Have a great weekend!!!

GOOG MORNING!

Good Morning Breeders,

Just a quick update on whats been going on at the Texas Shootout Loft. It's been rather quiet since we pulled flights and allowed the birds an open loft. We open the loft in the morning, in and out traps, and allow the birds to come and go as they please. They can come in for a drink and go back out to enjoy the sunshine or fly at will. Still not pressuring them to fly. Out trap is closed after a couple hours and the birds are called in to eat. We do a visual inspection daily to make sure they are all feeling good and no accidents have occured while outside.

The health in the loft has been excellent and with the good Lord's willing it will remain that way. No issues at all.

We are very thankful to all our breeders for supporting us and want to wish everyone the best of luck!

Thank you again for your support

LOFT UPDATE

Good Morning Breeders !

Beautiful day here in Poolville TX.

The birds look amazing and we couldn't be happier about the health of the entire loft. Flights have been pulled and the birds have open loft in the mornings to sit in the sun or fly if they want. Bath pans are also available if they're interested in a spa day. No pressure!

Thank you again to all the breeders that sent birds and are supporting the Texas Shootout OLR .
