The new docking station is here and appears to have fixed our problems. The birds were tossed 4 times in the last 7 days. 5,10,10 and 20 this morning. On th second 10, which was Tuesday we came up 6 birds short. And today 85 have clocked in so far. I will set the clock on Wincompanion for tomorrow’s toss, it will be 40 miles. Birds are healthy and feathered good. Our weather has finally opened up for a few days and I’m taking advantage of it.
Took the birds on their first training toss Yesterday. The birds came well, trapped in good. Amazon delivered the new USB cable this morning, ( post office delivering on Sunday morning, go figure ). When I plugged it in it seems to be correct and downloaded an update and changed COM ports and I don't know how to change it back. Terry and I are changing over to the new server later today and I should be back to being able to post training on Wincompanion again. The birds will be on the road every other day from now on (weather permitting )
We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are looking foward to the 2018 race season. We will be flying from the SouthWest this year, The NorthEast course proved to be very tough after the 275 in 2017. It takes a tough bird to fly our course. We typically have 1100 to 1200 ypm minute races. If you breed birds that can fly this, send them to us. We are Guaranteeing $25,000 to the 1st place on the 325 final race. We are taking sign ups now. Come see us at the Ipigeon GALA in Vegas, Andrea and I will be there again. God Bless.
