Good Evening All,

        After lengthy time spent trying to repair and  or reininstall the clocking program it's been determined that  my clock needs a New Brain. The latest is, I was sent a UPS tracking # where the dongle has been sent from Germany, so were getting closer to having clocking back.  

     Meanwhile Monday I went through all the birds and pulled their 9th flights. Clocking or not the birds continue to be turned out every morning and many are doing some wing time.  I've also been having the birds exit the loft down the hallway where I load them in the trailer for road training later.   Never a dull moment and always trying to give them experience.

Good Morning , 

We woke yesterday morning to thick fog and only a quarter mile visibility. This hung in the entire morning so I kept the birds in yesterday.  Today however after last evenings  rain we had a bright sunny morning all one can ask for.   The birds are doing well with~ 310 out to freedom and ~150 more on the boards trap training.  Just 3 weeks left or until May 5th that we will be taking birds and replacements.  This is a mass email but please check your bird inventory as I try to post daily the presence of the birds.  Take note about 100birds of the trap training sections are not being scanned (birds received after Mar 24th) .

Sunny day here but still only a blistering 55 degrees.  Birds are healthy and just finished their monthly regimen of canker treatment.  Settling has been another story.   Just get a new bunch out on the boards and a hawk hits hem for a scatter.  Please check my daily inventories to determine your replacement needs. Birds received the week of  March 26-30 are trap training but are not being scanned at this point..

Beautiful days for the next several here is Central Oregon.  Let the birds out for the first time today only to find many birds had been missed clocking.  Will have try again tomorrow.  

Trying to get things finished and buttoned up for the year.  Planning to return any more claimed birds the week of Nov 27th.  The last of the prize checks were mailed Nov. 17 unless a W-9 was needed and those breeders have been notified. Concentrating this coming week on returning Prize winning birds, then the week of the 13th all others. If you have not already sent your desire to have your birds returned please email.  Return shipping cost is yet to be determined Monday I should have a better knowledge of prices.  Those with winnings of $600 or more need to send me a W-9.  Have great week !!!!

312 birds are in route  to Battle Mtn, Nevada our 350 mile and Final Race release point.  We have planned a 7:45 release  and should be expecting birds home after 3:00.  Lunch has been planned for 1pm so bring a chair  and warm clothing as the high for tomorrow is 50 degrees with bright sun. See you tomorrow!!!

The final race will be flown Sunday October 29th.   Weather conditions including wind gusts to 20mph along with predicted rain and snow showers the last 100 miles into evening have forced us to make the change.  See you Sunday......Paul
